Freemasonry offers anyone interested in it a vast field of research and knowledge that is of great intellectual and spiritual enrichment. More than 110 years have passed since Oswald Wirth's book Freemasonry made intelligible to its followers was first published. This book, the first of its kind, was highly innovative for its time, both in terms of its content and the highly original contributions that made it such a success. Today, however, it is often perceived as confused and outdated. Having successfully modernised the apprentice's manual, Irène Mainguy now offers a renewed version of Oswald Wirth's companion's manual, taking into account the most recent publications. All new Freemasons will be able to find reliable answers during their apprenticeship by discovering this version, which is truly adapted to the requirements and needs of our time as regards the philosophy of the activity and the profession.
